PaganNation.com 3 months, 2 weeks agoWOOOOOO FUCKING HOOOOOO (did I mention freedom of speech and expression) – Membership is NOT ready, but after a day of loosing my mind when ever a child, wife, mother, cat, dog, or goat (yes, I said goat) demanded my attention thus turning what I was thinking on into mental goulash, I -think- I have finished with the validations. Now that sounds…[Read more]

PaganNation.com 3 months, 2 weeks agoSoftware Update – We are very close to being able to let folk sign up to the main software. What that will do is allow you to reserve YOURNAME.Domain.com (example: DuckMan.PaganNation.com). All that is left to do for membership is to create the age verification to comply with the whole federal law thing. Yuck.

PaganNation.com 3 months, 2 weeks agoMemory Saturation – This site is experiencing memory saturation and going down every now. Part of the idea behind the new software is to have software that does not suck up memory the way wordpress and other software run sites do. When the new software can provide enough that folk will like it, I am going to replace this site with something more…[Read more]

PaganNation.com 3 months, 3 weeks agoColors – Layout / CSS stuff developing at http://Folkview.net (note the dot net). It still does nothing, but now the colors and lay out that I am favoring (subdued light grey) are starting to make the place look good. Would now like opinions on colors. Is the light / paper like look good. I do hate that giant blue thing on the top of Facebook…[Read more]

I like the light grey too. The only thing I would suggest is that too much white or light grey can be straining to the eyeballs. The last iteration of PN was that weird khaki brown as I recall and that was actually not too bad. I’d try to lean more towards light ”warm” colors than cool to make it easier to look at for hours on end haha
-
I am pulling towards the idea of having color schemes that people can choose. Maybe call this grey scale light, have a grey scale dark, light blue, dark blue, and so on. Thoughts? Challenge, my first thought is that I want to let folk decorate as they want. Then I remember myspace days when people went way, way, way over the top and I say…[Read more]

PaganNation.com 3 months, 3 weeks agoPlease visit: http://Folkview.Net (note: dot net) to see the lay out and give me feed back. In particular, the sign in and sign up areas. Ignore color complaints. None of this works, so dont try to sign up. But please, please I need input. If you see something screwy with layout, like overlaping areas, elements, and bla bla – let me know your…[Read more]

PaganNation.com 3 months, 3 weeks agoHey tech support!! I see a link to forums, so how do I make one?
-
You can not at Folkview.org. I knew this would be confusing. This place is to discuss features needed in the software that will serve the domain pagannation.com. In that software, every person will be able to create their own forum and then moderate it themselves. Does that make sense?
-
Okay then, I want forums, a like and dislike button, a wall for my profile, though I know we can’t call it a wall or facespace will sue us, I would like a bulletin board to post pictures and links on (i.e. pinterest) and a partridge in a pear tree. Anyone else want to add anything?
-
Tonight am working on the IE problem, hopefully easy fix, and then membership routine. When done, people will be able to reserve YourName.Domain.com but nothing else will be ready.
